Come and enjoy a unique sheep trekking experience on our family farm where our small flock of friendly Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep are ready and waiting to welcome you!

 

On arrival you will be paired with your woolly companion before we head off on one of the guided walks around our beautiful farm in the foothills of the Cheviots. The pace of the walk will be leisurely to allow you to completely immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy getting to know your fluffy friend! ​

• Sheep Trekking is an outdoor activity and, as such, you will need to dress appropriately. Sturdy footwear (walking boots or wellies) and warm clothing are a must, we often experience all four seasons in 1 hour here, never mind 1 day!​

• Our Valais Blacknose Sheep require shearing (removal of their wool) twice a year for welfare reasons so it is worth while bearing in mind that they won't always have their long curly wool when you visit for your trek. 

• Walking pace is leisurely and will be dictated by the pace of the sheep, visitor fitness and handling ability.  

• Our Sheep Trekking Experience is designed to be enjoyable and relaxing, and whilst it can be exciting for children, we do ask that noise levels are kept to a reasonable level for the enjoyment of all (including the sheep).

• Dogs are not permitted due to the nature of the experience.
